A power size 3 heavy duty electromagnetic hold-open fire door closer. Typically used on fire rated doors where the hold-open or swing-free feature is required such as high traffic areas like corridors
Ideal for use in public buildings including schools, department stores and hospitals, nursing and convalescent homes - especially when used in conjunction with a fire alarm system. Upon the sounding of the fire alarm or in the event of power failure, the electromagnet disengages and the door closer closes the door in the normal manner to maintain fire safety
Features a built-in adjustable backcheck - Ideal for high traffic doors as it offers resistance when the door is opened with excessive force, preventing damage to doors
Suitable for use on interior doors up to 950mm wide / 60kg max weight
Suitable for pull side mounting/transom mounting. Figure 1/61
Can be set to operate in either hold-open or swing-free function which is ideal for areas used by the disabled or elderly, as it allows the door to operate without any resistance
Electromagnetic hold-open between 85° and 110° - Ideal for busy corridors and preventing fire doors being illegally propped open
