Are you fitting locks to fire doors? Fire Officers are increasingly specifying intumescent lock protection to be fitted, as it is an area most likely to suffer failure in a fire situation
In the event of a fire, the intumescent rapidly expands to provide additional protection to the lock cavity area, helping maintain the door's integrity
Tested to BS 476 Pt 20/22 to FD60
Contains 5 intumescent kits to to provide fire protection for 5 locks
Simply insert along the sides of the lock case
Can be easily trimmed
