Overview
• Briton 376 Push Bar Panic Bolt - Timber Door
• Briton push bar panic exit device with vertical bolts operating top and bottom of the door
• Designed for use in public areas on escape routes where personnel have not been trained in the location and operations of the exit devices
• Suitable for use on interior fire and smoke doors up to 2500mm high x 1300mm wide
• For use on all single doors and in combination on non-rebated double doors. For rebated double doors combine with the Briton 378.
• Site reversible - easy to hand on site
• Features an anti-thrust device, prevents unauthorised retraction of the latch bolt and two-point locking for extra security
• Adjustable top and bottom shoots -tubular steel cross bar and shoots can be cut on site to suit door width and height
• Tested in excess of 200,000 cycles
•
• Fire tested to EN 1634 on timber doors to achieve a 2 hour fire rating and 4 hours for metal doors
•
• For non-public areas such as offices, select products that are BS EN 179 applicable
