• Fireco Dorgard Smartsound Fire Door Holder - Black
• The wireless SmartSound fire door holder that allows you to safely and legally keep fire doors open and automatically releases doors allowing the fire door to close under the pressure of the overhead door closer when a fire alarm sounds
• The SmartSound features new noise filtering technology which allows for more precise listening, reducing false activations from common background noises such as vacuum cleaners
• Accepted for use by fire authorities & complies with current BS standards
• Suitable for up to 60-minute fire doors
• No programming required at install, just “fit & forget”
• Simple, easy to understand LED status lights
• Installation is quick and easy with a battery-operated wireless system and no hardwiring required
• The delay door closure feature allows you to give people more time to evacuate before the doors close - ideal if installed in areas where there are occupants with limited mobility
• Carpet friendly - anti-drag feature
• For safety, replace the ferrule when it has become worn to avoid the door holder releasing unexpectedly. Ferrules are sold separately search for ‘spare ferrule’ on our website
• 3 year expected battery life
• Daily timed-release feature
• Works with heavy fire doors up to 160kg & 1600mm width
• At end-of-life cycle, Dorgard SmartSound units can be fully recycled (excluding casing) with original manufacturer
• Please note - may not be compatible with mechanical bells
